Perineum Massage Oil

Help prevent stitches and tearing with our midwife-recommended Perineum Massage Oil!

Perineum massage is one of the best things you can do to prepare your body for birth. Our 100% natural oil prepares the perineum by helping the skin stretch where it matters most! Rich in wheatgerm and sweet almond oils it is fragrance-free and completely natural.

Winner of the Best Maternity Skincare range by Mother & Baby, it is fantastic for massaging the perineum daily from week 34 (or as soon as your midwife recommends) and is also wonderful for all over body massage and can help reduce the appearance of healed scar tissue too!

  • Great for helping to heal sealed Caesarean scars

Love Boo Perineum Massage Oil is probably one of our most celebrated products! Mums and midwives often tell us that they believe regular massage of the perineal area helped them avoid stitches during birth. To use, massage from week 34 onwards (or when your midwife recommends), massage around the perineum. Safe for use as a massage oil when pregnant and nursing. For more information on perineal massage, check out our video with Jo the midwife. Did you know…

  • It’s also fab for helping healed scars, such as C-section scars, fade thanks to its 100% natural blend of wheatgerm and arnica oils.
  • It’s a fantastic unscented and mega-moisturising oil for baby massage, or grown-up massage for that matter.

    Saved me from stitches!

I swear doing this saved me from tearing like I did with my first. I was paranoid about it happening again ‘cos it was more painful than the birth. My midwife told me to try doing this and it worked!
