It’s estimated that one in five women will experience a mental health problem during pregnancy or in the year after giving birth. Postnatal depression and perinatal mental illness can happen gradually or all of a sudden and can be a hideously scary time for sufferers and their families.
The PANDAS foundation is a charity that supports and advises any parent who is experiencing this awful illness and can also guide and inform family members, carers, friends and employers as to how they can support someone who is suffering.
PANDAS survives thanks to the hard work of their dedicated volunteers and donations.
